Heavy metal is back—at least as far as makeup is concerned. On the runways at Donna Karan, Calvin Klein, and Emanuel Ungaro, models swapped dark smoky eyes and powdery complexions for radiant bronze, gold, and silver-blue. "There's something edgy but beautiful about metallic makeup," says Keri Blair of M.A.C, who worked with makeup artist Val Gardner on Ungaro's spring show. "It reflects light in such a way that the colors take on a richer quality and it gives the skin a luminosity that looks great on everyone."
