What the women of Alfred Hitchcock's classics movies would have turned to this spring. From the 20's drop-waist frocks to the old Hollywood glamour of the 40's and 50's, this season's looks brought the beauty of the classic Hitchcock woman to the runway.
A collection of different looks taken from the old-fashioned silhouettes of the 30's, 40's, 50's, and traces of art deco each dripping in black.
The single biggest influence in Fall 08 collections, is the 1940's. Plush furs, rich satins, structured and draped dresses and coats, and floaty skirts all hint at 40's glamour.
