Fire Poems at the Louvre: Colette Fetes Montgomery for Each x Other
Ilan Delouis and Jenny Mannerheim.
A dialogue between humans. A dialogue between artists. A dialogue of visions.
A dialogue between Jenny Mannerheim and Ilan Delouis where art meets fashion.
Meet Each x Other.Montgomery with a Fire Poem.
Each x Other was borne out of an encounter between fashion designer Delouis and artistic director Mannerheim, inspired by the poem “Safe and Warm Here / In the Fire of Each Other,” by the talented artist and poet Robert Montgomery. The duo decided to create a masculine wardrobe for women, a unisex and collaborative brand that invites artists, designers, and craftsmen to design models for their collections. This common and identical wardrobe for both him and her plays with myths of androgyny and the idea of the twin flame. All of their collections are based on a dialogue with an artist and the clothes always signed by the affiliated artists.Le Saut du Loup.
Last week, Each x Other launched at Colette with a solo exhibition of Robert Montgomery’s work, followed by a private dinner that started with a Fire Poem performance by the artist and an exclusive party at Le Saut Du Loup, in the gardens of the Louvre, where inspiring dialogues were shared among creatives. Music was even handled by Montgomery himself.
