The Little Things: Five Pocket-Sized Pleasures
I’ve been interested in “small objects” for about ten years. Here are a few pieces from my personal archives that are necessary to my life, small things I have gathered in the past decade.
01. Whistle necklaces
I don’t wear necklaces these days, but I’ve always liked whistles. These gray and orange whistle necklaces are made by blank a, my favorite Seoul accessories and womenswear label.
02. Leather bracelets
I love to wear simple slogans and strong materials, like studs, on my wrists.
03. Field Notes pad
I collect lots of small notebooks, but lately I just carry Field Notes. They are pocket-sized and have a neo-modern design with classic qualities that always inspire me.
04. Writing materials
Yes, I’m a stationery addict, but particularly when it comes to pens. A few of my favorites nowadays are Lamy fountain pens, Horizon needlepoint pens, and Caran d’Ache ballpoint pens.
05. Book clips
If I don’t have any book clips, I will use a business card or a receipt to keep my place, but I really enjoy using cute bookmarks. If I’m only pausing for a few minutes, I use one of my small combs, too!
