The Princess Diary: A New Tome Celebrates a Living Fashion Legend
With the launch of What Would Julia Do, Rebecca Thomas’ visual tribute to London’s enduring fashion muse Princess Julia, everyone piled into the Cock ‘n’ Bull Gallery, in the basement of Tramshed, to celebrate. James Long played “Hold On” by En Vogue during his deejay set with Harriet Verney, while guests knocked back Tequila Ocho raspberry margaritas and Julia herself looked resplendent in pale blue satin by Sibling.
Fashion’s latest upstart, Ed Marler, wore his own designs, as did Louise Gray, who also sported the “Babe” sweatshirt she designed for Lulu & Co. Other guests included Jonathan Saunders, Judy Blame, Paloma Faith, Duggie Fields, Dominic Jones, Pam Hogg, the Sibling crew, and Lulu Kennedy with baby Rainbow in tow.
What Would Julia Do is available from Colette, Donlon Books, and the ICA.Rebecca Thomas, Paloma Faith; Dominic Jones. Jonathan Saunders; Judy Blame, Princess Julia.
