Worth a Thousand Words: Hong Sukwoo’s Week in Pictures
There is a selected photographic diary I kept during a week’s journey in my town, Seoul.

Here are Maison Kitsuné’s candles at MSK Shop. I love Maison Kitsuné’s creations and the delicate art direction.
I also stopped by paper-toy company Momot‘s second exhibition, Momotist, and photographed Mr. Lee Junkang and Mr. Lee Heuntae, co-creative directors of Momot. The exhibit was so much fun, especially a paper Nick Wooster and their collaborations with various artists.

These are beautiful lotus lanterns at a temple in celebration of Seokga Tansinil, the date of Buddha’s birth.

Before I left work this weekend, I dropped by a memorial altar at Seoul City Hall for the victims of the Sewol ferry disaster. May their noble souls rest in peace.

Are you interested in “art toys”? I really like them and the creators of these designer toys. If you found yourself passing through Seoul this week, you should stop by the Art Toy Culture 2014 fair in Dongdaemun Design Plaza & Park. I loved the music-themed installation from Sticky Monster Lab. The SML team always makes things that inspire me.
