Fendi

Senior Beauty Editor Celia Ellenberg's take:
Peter Philips added his two cents to the bleached vs. bushy brow debate that's captivated the makeup artistry community for the past few seasons yesterday at Fendi, bucking both trends to introduce a totally new way of beefing up arches.

"It's a graphic metallic element," the face painter said of the gold and silver leaf he placed on models' lids, drawing a thick black cat-eye with Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long-Lasting Eyeliner in Black along the lash line and then placing pieces of the featherweight reflective sheets all the way up past the brow bone using an adhesive gel. Deciding that an eyeful of shimmering foil was plenty to look at, Philips kept the rest of the face clean, dusting on a slight pink flush with Chanel Joues Contraste Blush in Rose Ecrin and dabbing a touch of his new Pro Lumière foundation onto lips to take them down a notch.

Revisiting the voluminous, sixties-era Hitchcock heroine hair he created here last season, hairstylist Sam McKnight went with a "structured" bouffant shape for Spring. Prepping hair with Frédéric Fekkai Coiff Bouffant Lifting & Texturizing Spray Gel to allow for more effective back-combing, McKnight teased hair up and then tucked it under, resulting in a sweeping faux bob.
