what is good about these looks is that they have classic elements and are well-coordinated. i don't know if i would say their outfits are boring, the outfits flow nicely. these women don't need to show their skill by being risky, they are going for something completely different. subtlety.

Fur is always in and makes anyone look fabulous even if nothing is worn underneath.

Goodness, yes--heaven forbid anyone who isn't fashionable should fall into the trap of thinking they are--I feel SO bad for that type of person, don't you? As for taking risks at a certain age--well, with people like the last post-ee, KARAMELKAT, being in the sad majority in fashion-land, I reckon those who do go ahead and take risks show more daring than the young, of whom it is expected. Good on 'em, I say, and I'm sure people like Garcia don't give a fig about karamelkats.

Except for #3, all of these ladies are BORING. Which is fine, as long as they know it and don't think that they are fashionable for one second! The fur....at this day and age, unless it happens to be a vintage, it is just plain unconscionable. Nina Garcia...well, very mainstream and classic ,but at that age you can't realy take too many risks, can you? This just goes to show that New York doesn't disappointment in playing it safe, on or off the runway!

Oh snap! Fur is so icky but they love it here in NYC. Uptown it's fox and downtown it's raccoon dog-altogether it's just totally over.
