Jean Paul Gaultier

NEW YORK, June 29, 2007
By Laird Borrelli
Jean Paul Gaultier loves a print, and his resort collection featured lots of pattern play. Paired with gladiator sandals, his flowy dresses had a touch of the islands about them. In contrast, white linen trousers with an ecru cardigan were très bourgeois. Harem pants worn with a tunic paid homage to Paul Poiret—Gaultier attended the Costume Institute's Poiret gala with model Coco Rocha on his arm.
