Diane von Furstenberg

NEW YORK, December 19, 2008

Diane von Furstenberg took a something-for-everyone approach to pre-fall. With British bookworms and the urban jungle as her talking points, she showed tailored pieces in houndstooth and tweeds, along with wrap dresses, away-from-the-body shifts, and soft, slouchy cardigans in tiger, palm frond, and zebra prints. Somewhere in the middle was a fuchsia and gray color-block dress with a no-nonsense chic that should appeal to both the librarian and the glamazon.
