Roberto Cavalli wants to be sure his customer is covered, whatever her summer travel plans. He divided his wide-ranging pre-fall collection into a series of nature-inspired prints in recurring silhouettes. Forties-era suits mingled with silk caftans and sporty nylon anoraks, and there were enough lightweight cocktail dresses for a season's worth of parties. A feather print stood out, particularly in a halter gown with real red-carpet potential.
