After a road trip that took her through New Mexico and California, Sonia Rykiel creative director Gabrielle Greiss was feeling a little bit country for pre-fall. Her sunset-inspired palette included a melon-y lumberjack plaid worked up into a ruffled jacket, a peak-shouldered dress, and slouchy pants. Keeping things from getting too Madonna in Music mode were lush, bone-colored angora coats as well as intarsia and ruffled knit dresses with an easy charm.
