Doo.Ri

By Meenal Mistry
Doo-Ri Chung approaches Resort as a laboratory of ideas and a prelude to Spring. Working in sherbet shades, she sent out pieces like a pale khaki jacket with a ruffled harness detail and skinny tuxedo pants with a pleated side stripe. Here, Chung was exploring structure in tailoring, a sure harbinger of what's to come, but she didn't neglect her deft hand with jersey: Tops and dresses with flat pleats and clever drapes had an uncomplicated "summer in the city" chic.
