Footloose and carefree is the feeling of Marc by Marc Jacobs Resort. Inspired by the feel-good musical, there were "demure Americana" dresses in plaid and terry cloth with retro camp-style shapes, ikat and floral mix separates, and prints (bow chains and confetti streamers) galore. Leopard toppers and metallic knits added a slightly rebellious touch, as did non-traditional eyelet dresses with skull patterns. Jacobs stayed true to the line's DNA, maintaining the fine balance between sassy and sweet that keeps the tills ringing. Let's hear it for the boy.
