Alberta Ferretti, hippie at heart? The designer made a convincing argument at Philosophy Resort, which was heavy on crafty details like crochet, patchwork, and beading. Ferretti's version is more Ibiza than Asheville, though. Among the standouts: a short teal hand-knit frock, a white cotton maxi dress with a broderie anglaise bodice, and a chiffon and lace number in a groovy Art Nouveau print. The colorful, quintessentially cruise collection should be an easy hit with her customers.
