Hervé Léger by Max Azria

NEW YORK, June 6, 2011
There's something to be said for the winning formula in place at Hervé Léger. Those sexy-as-hell bandage dresses have been selling like hotcakes season after season. Designers Max and Lubov Azria simply tweak a few variables each cycle to keep it fresh. The Resort lineup featured punchy prints inspired by the likes of Stephen Sprouse and Keith Haring. And the signature dresses were updated with cutouts and fun, enamel paillettes. Overall, the collection was sportier than usual. Color-blocked leggings with flattering streaks of cobalt blue down the side put a spin on the skintight look and had a scuba-ish feel. Swimwear (which the brand reportedly can't keep in stock) also received top billing. These maillots were more jaw-droppers than head-turners; the Azrias knows the Hervé Léger customer is looking to flaunt what she's got.
