Trying her hand at directing, Tara Subkoff is bringing her Resort collection to life with a short film to be released online later this week (there's already a teaser trailer floating around the Web). As she often does, the Imitation designer has channeled old Hollywood glamour for the occasion. A fringed bandeau top worn with a long matching skirt and a palazzo pant jumpsuit came across somewhat costume-y on the racks, but they came to life in the silent short movie. Credit for that goes to It girls like Becka Diamond, Lissy Trullie, and model Nicole Trunfio, who had us at hello in the opalescent, tiered minidress she tossed on over a pair of gold sequined hot shorts.
