Rebecca Taylor isn't one to stick to black, so it comes as no surprise that the New Zealand native joined the fleet of designers cruising in neon for her Resort collection. Vibrant colors—lime green, neon pink, "poral" (coral meets pink), and cobalt blue—were softened by shades of nude ranging from tan to dusty rose.

Taylor offered the neutral-neon combination in several ways: as a multicolored, silk patchwork maxi dress; silk floral pajama pants with lime green piping; and an emerald green, mid-calf-length skirt paired with a light-colored crop top, emphasizing the waist. Along with the crop top, there were other nineties staples here, like a pair of sleeveless jumpsuits (translation: refreshed overalls) and a silk slipdress with polka-dot hearts. Like her signature floral-print blouse with new shoulder cutouts, they felt more of-the-moment than retro.
