Suno

Max Osterweis and Erin Beatty gave their Resort collection for Suno a Hawaiian punch with the sort of daring prints that are already a signature for the young designers. A busy jungle pattern in saturated jewel tones showed up on linen pieces including a short-sleeved shirtdress with accordion pleating—it almost looked like someone had cranked the pigment dial on one of Jimmy Buffett's button-downs. There was more where that came from: A picturesque beachscape was screened onto a sequined miniskirt, and tiny hula dancers covered a matching jacket and cropped trousers. Aside from pattern-heavy looks, another key theme was pajama dressing, a trend that Suno latched onto several seasons back. The sleepwear-inspired stuff was the most wearable part of the collection; this time around, the aforementioned prints just seemed a little too quirky and ironic for regular wear.
