Coker's customers have been responding well to her knits, and so she's started making more of them. The standout this season was a pencil skirt and cropped tank in a stained-glass print worn with a pair of simple white sneakers. Coker also experimented with a mesh fabric that she found in Portugal, printing it with a rich purple-and-teal floral pattern.
There were several mini themes throughout the collection, but it felt cohesive anyway. For many years, Wren has seemed like a big, fun project more than a full-fledged line. But that's changed, and now Coker has a brand on her hands. It'll be fun to see where she takes it next.
