One imagines that Rachel Zoe's travels take her by air from coast to coast, but where her collection is concerned, Resort is made for the water. There was a bit of a nautical theme to Zoe's latest offering, from the sea-blue marine print (complete with shore birds) to marinière stripes in leather and sequins, and rope belts cinching oversize tunics. In Zoe's own words, "It's a very versatile collection." That may be a polite way of saying, a little bit of this and a little bit of that—and, of course, a little bit of Zoe. Pieces modeled on her own trademark style—like a long black evening skirt sequined in an architectural Deco pattern paired with a draped tank top—mixed with those that, like the piped tailoring, paid homage to her decade of choice, the seventies.
