As for the coats, the designers claimed they were inspired by Lee Miller, the World War II photographer turned Vogue
portraitist. The connection wasn't easy to see, but hand-painted buffalo-leather jackets with four-ply cashmere collars, as well as white minks inset with black leather to create a more fitted line, will find admirers anyway.
