Elise Øverland

NEW YORK, September 6, 2008
By Nicole Phelps
Elise Øverland lightened up for Spring, tempering her goth/punk sensibilities with blush satin dresses, mint-green satin pajama suits, and a T-shirt shift with a wild bird print. Africa was the inspiration point, and yes, she did have the season's de rigueur droopy-crotch pant, not to mention a few silk veils-cum-hoods. But her devotees need not fret; there were still plenty of little leather jackets, second-skin leggings, and one super-cool sparkly black vest in the mix.
