Rebecca Taylor

Rebecca Taylor had Ali MacGraw and the seventies perfume dream girl, Charlie ("Kinda free, kinda wow!"), on her mind, so it followed that Spring would be a send-up of the Me Decade. There were more silk blouses than you could shake a joss stick at (very pretty in coral and jade, with unfussy floral prints), and a killer pair of high-waisted denim flares with diagonal zip pockets. Micro-pleat chiffon skirts came long and sheer. They looked winkingly sexy with marled cotton crews and unbuttoned-to-there Henleys (worn sans bra, of course). A python print provided a soupçon of danger and revved up a canvas trench; that, along with a see-through gray chiffon bomber jacket, was the perfect topper for Taylor's kinda new, kinda now mix.
