See by Chloé
aired its second digital fashion show this morning. The virtual runway experience means those invited to watch the screening don't have to leave the comfort of their own desk or even look up from their iPhone, for that matter (a convenience that can't be overestimated given fashion week's overcrowded schedules). The trade-off is, you can't reach out and touch the fabrics or feel a slight breeze as the models whip down the catwalk. While those little details can make a meaningful difference, there was a lot to take away from SBC's new collection. Kimono-inspired wrap jackets paired with slouchy trousers seemed like a fresh alternative to the tailored suit, while oversize quilted bombers and leather track pants were textbook examples of "effortlessly chic" pieces. Speaking of effortless, we should point out that look 13 here—relaxed drawstring jeans paired with a chunky marled sweater and a chambray button-up—is an exact duplicate of one outfit from the recent Resort lineup. Ditto look 12. Then again, the cool-without-trying-too-hard SBC girl has never been one to care if people catch her wearing the same thing twice.
