Sleeveless Jackets Proliferate on the Spring Runways

The suit revival that started last Fall continued apace for Spring, but replacing all those bold shoulders were bare arms. "I chose to do sleeveless jackets as a way of modernizing the power suit," said British designer Richard Nicoll. He wasn't the only one exercising that right: Sleeveless styles made appearances at Yves Saint Laurent, Thakoon, and Richard Chai, while vaguely militaristic vest-jackets marched down the runways at 6267 and Proenza Schouler.
