The Italian Trade Commission "Best of Italian Style" Sweepstakes
No Purchase Necessary
Sweepstakes open to U.S. residents, 21 years of age or older at
time of entry.
1) PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: No purchase necessary to enter. Promotion begins
at 12:01 a.m. (ET) on October 15, 2001 and ends at 11:59 p.m. (ET) on
November 30, 2001. Prizes will be awarded via a random drawing conducted
on or about December 15, 2001 from among all eligible entries received.
Void in Puerto Rico, Alaska and Hawaii and where prohibited by law.
2) HOW TO ENTER: To enter, complete and submit electronically the
online entry form at www.style.com/italianstyle/sweeps.html.
Online entrants must complete entire entry form to be eligible.
Limit one entry per entrant. Multiple entries submitted by a single
entrant are void. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for lost, late
or misdirected entries or for any computer, online, telephone, or
human error or technical malfunctions that may occur. All entries
become the property of the Sponsor.
3) WINNER SELECTION: Winners will be selected in a random drawing
to be conducted on or about November 30, 2001. Odds of winning depend
on the number of eligible entries received. PRIZE: (1) Grand Prize:
One (1) winner will receive a 6-night/7-day trip to Florence, Italy.
The prize package includes round-trip, coach airfare for two, double
occupancy hotel accommodations for 6 nights, a dinner for two and
a $1,000 Italian wardrobe. No substitution, barter, transfer, or
assignment of prize permitted. Any applicable tax is sole responsibility
of winner. Prizes consist of only those items specifically listed
as part of the prize. No cash redemption, substitution or transfer
of prize is allowed except due to unavailability. Grand Prize Winner's
guest must execute a Release of Liability prior to departure. All
travelers must possess required travel documents (i.e. valid photo
ID) at the time of travel.
4) ELIGIBILITY: This sweepstakes is open only to legal residents
of the United States, 21 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Employees of Italian Trade Commission, CondéNet and contractors
working directly on either companies' programs and their respective
affiliates, parent companies, subsidiaries, promotion, advertising
and promotional agencies and the immediate family members of each
are not eligible to enter.
5) GENERAL CONDITIONS: Sweepstakes entrants agree to be bound by
the terms of these official rules. The laws of the United States
govern this Sweepstakes. All federal, state and local laws and regulations
apply. Winner will be notified via U.S. Mail within two (2) weeks
of prize drawing. Grand Prize winner will be required to execute
and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release
within14 days following the date of issuance of notification. Non-compliance
within this time period or return of any prize/prize notification
as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of
an alternate winner. If the winner is a minor the prize will be
awarded in the name of a parent or legal guardian of the winner.
Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use winner's
name and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without
additional compensation unless prohibited by law. By entering, participants
release and hold harmless Italian Trade Commission USA, LLC, CondéNet
and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers,
employees and agents from any and all liability or any injuries,
loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this
Sweepstakes or acceptance or use of any prize won.
6) INTERNET: If for any reason this sweepstakes is not capable of
running as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering,
unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other
causes beyond the control of the sponsor which corrupt or affect
the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct
of this Sweepstakes, the sponsor reserves the right at its sole
discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry
process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes.
The Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption,
deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications
line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or
alteration of, entries. The sponsor is not responsible for any problems
or technical malfunction of any telephone network or telephone lines,
computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment,
software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by sponsors
on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion
on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof,
including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's
computer relating to or resulting from participation in this sweepstakes
or downloading any materials in this Sweepstakes. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT
TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE
OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL
LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE
RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S)
RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner based on
an E-mail address, the winning entry will be declared made by the
authorized account holder of the E-mail address submitted at time
of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural
person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access
provider, on-line service provider or other organization (e.g.,
business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for
assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted
E-mail address. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion
to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the sweepstakes.
7) WHO WON: To receive name of winner by mail please send a self addressed
stamped envelope to: Italian Trade Commission "Best of Italian Style"

Requests received after December 15, 2001 will not be fulfilled.
