The temperatures may be unseasonably mild for January, but that hasn't stopped New Yorkers (and an out-of-towner or two) from encasing themselves in all manner of cold-weather gear, from vintage velvet capes to chunky knit scarves and Davy Crockett fur caps. As photographer Kate Schelter discovers in her second installment of the season, the city that never sleeps is also the one that uses any excuse to accessorize.
