A Moment With Marc
It was shenanigans as usual at the Marc Jacobs after-party on Monday night at 24 Fifth Avenue. "You need to get your ass on time!" the designer teased latecomer Lindsay Lohan, who just missed the runway presentation and still managed to arrive at the soirée nearly two hours after it started. Dita Von Teese, meanwhile, was raving about the accessories she had seen on the catwalk. "The shoes were so extreme," said Mrs. Marilyn Manson. "When they come in, I'm going to be at Marc's feet begging for a pair." While guests like Sofia Coppola, Winona Ryder, and a scruffy-haired Josh Hartnett hung out in the back, Jacobs remained up front, where his show was being replayed on a flat-screen TV. "I'm pleased," he said hesitantly. "All I see are all the mistakes, but it's like my therapist said, 'The reward is all in the journey.'" With that, his attention turned to other matters as someone called out, "Marc have you met Jenna Jameson?"

Sunday Bloody Sunday
The day before began with breakfast at Milla Jovovich's West Village townhouse, where the model and her design partner, Carmen Hawk, gave an intimate presentation of their fashion line, and ended with Diane von Furstenberg's post-show party. At the latter, the Super Bowl was broadcast for a crowd that included Chris and Amanda Cutter Brooks and Christian Louboutin. "Did you see the halftime show?" said von Furstenberg. "I went right upstairs and wrote Mick [Jagger] an e-mail: 'Sixty-four years old, and you've still got it, man.'"

Uptown, meanwhile, Bono and his wife, Ali Hewson, along with Rogan Gregory, presented their eco-friendly Edun fashion collection to fans like Moby, Peter Sarsgaard, and Jeff and Justine Koons. The venue, an unlikely one, was Jeanne Greenberg Rohatyn's Upper East Side residence cum gallery, Salon 94. "Normally when I see a house like this, I think terrible things," said Bono. "Normally, I think [the people] are assholes. But they're lovely."

J'Adore…
A few blocks south and a couple of nights earlier, Lucy Sykes Rellie and Vogue's Mark Holgate hosted a party for Mulberry at Bergdorf Goodman's BG restaurant. On hand were Patti Hansen, Theodora Richards, Angie Harmon, and Padma Lakshmi-Rushdie, who was overheard asking for PR maven Karen Duffy's card, "because, you know, I love Dior."

Jean Genie
Another day, another department store. On Monday afternoon, Tara Subkoff presented her new denim line in one of the windows at Barneys New York. The Imitation of Christ designer enlisted the help of Saturday Night Live chum Rachel Dratch to create a red carpet scenario, in which the comedienne was bombarded by a phalanx of model photographers (including Omahyra and Lydia Hearst). The unusual venue led to an unscripted moment, when a scruffy passerby stopped to ask what was going on. Told it was a fashion show, he yelled: "Fashion! What? Everybody here give me a dollar!"
