Scott Schuman, the man behind the wildly popular photo blog The Sartorialist and a frequent Style.com contributor, breezed into Wednesday's cocktail reception for his Danziger Projects exhibition still giddy from the previous night, when his first-ever gallery show had opened to the public. "It was crazy," said Schuman, whose posts of chic passersby often draw over 50,000 online visitors a day. "The line to get in was out the door and all the way to Tenth Avenue. There were so many different types of people, but they were all so sophisticated and cool." Wednesday night's guests were hardly slouches either. Peter Som, Rag & Bone's David Neville, Tara Subkoff, Michael Bastian, and Calvin Klein's Italo Zucchelli were just a few of the fashion industry insiders who turned up at the event, which was hosted by Style.com.

"I'm a huge fan of Scott's," said Derek Lam. "I check the site often. I'm always disappointed when there's nothing new up. I'm like, what is he doing? Is he on vacation? Why isn't he posting more stuff?" Phillip Lim weighed in, too: "The way he captures the real style of the street, I think he's a pioneer."
