"Pretty happening," Zooey Deschanel commented, at the David Yurman–sponsored Another Magazine party held in honor of the magazine's latest cover star, Kirsten Dunst. In the crammed stage-side VIP area inside Milk Studios, host Jefferson Hack and Anouck Lepère attentively bobbed their heads to the throbbing sounds of rock duo The Kills, Mary-Kate Olsen danced with Vanessa Traina, and Kate Moss and Jade Jagger smoked and chatted on the couches. With his show safely behind him, Proenza Schouler's Jack McCollough lounged with his cast leg elevated, much to the delight of Margherita Missoni, who playfully kissed his toes. And is it too early to write off Paris? Arriving fresh from the Heatherette runway and looking like a blond Elvira, Hilton caused a stir among the starry set. "The Kills were wicked," said actress Emily Mortimer. "But seeing Paris in the flesh was my highlight. She surpassed all my expectations." Tell that to Ian Schrager.

Uptown, Narciso Rodriguez was feted at a considerably quieter affair at Asia de Cuba in the Morgans Hotel. Rodriguez pals Jerry and Jessica Seinfeld kept mostly to themselves. "It was perfect," was all the missus would say when asked what she thought of her friend's collection. The man of the hour, meanwhile, spent the majority of his evening hanging with the soft-spoken Cindy Sherman, and who can blame him? The famous photographer called Rodriguez "a true artist."
