Le Baron, the site of Tuesday's Balenciaga fête, welcomed back the fashion crowd the following night for a bash hosted by supermodels Jessica Stam and Carmen Kass. The occasion? A toast for Greenhouse, an as-yet-unopened club in Manhattan that will boast eco-friendly decor and construction. While the faces—Lily Cole, Irina Lazareanu, Chanel VP Rebekah McCabe—were familiar, the dress code had at least one twist. "I saw Carmen at Lagerfeld Gallery this morning, and she said it was casual, and she was going to wear jeans," Stam said. "So I was going to go casual, too, but then I found this amazing vintage Dior couture dress and couldn't pass it up."

21 Club
Meanwhile, Ennio and Carlo Capasa celebrated Costume National's 21 years in fashion with a drinks party in their Paris boutique. Aside from enjoying a cocktail or two, here are a few ways the brothers are marking this milestone: publishing an Assouline tome on the history of the house; throwing events in New York and Los Angeles in November; releasing a limited-edition Costume National Alfa Romeo 147 that has already sold out; launching a new unisex fragrance called 21; designing a birthday edition of Absolut vodka; sponsoring an Italian exhibition of Michel Gondry's sculptural work; and developing a Hollywood project that is still under wraps. Their secret? "You have to be loyal to yourself," said Ennio. "Individuality is essential for longevity."

Ladies' Night
Earlier in the evening, Cécile and Tania of the all-female trio Les Putafranges tuned out to be the right choices to deejay the opening of the Blumarine boutique. As Carine Roitfeld, actress Julie Depardieu, Audrey Marnay, and Inès de la Fressange chatted in the store's ultrafeminine environs, Cécile discussed her and her partner's preference for a pop-electro mix. "We play dancing music for girls," she said, simply.

An Italian in Paris
The City of Light is also the city of serious shopping, and so Thursday night brought another store opening, as Roberto Cavalli welcomed supporters to his new Avenue Montaigne shop. Arielle Dombasle, Jade Jagger, and Victoria Beckham (whose upcoming tour Cavalli is dressing) congratulated the designer, who is set to open two more Paris stores (one complete with a bar and spa). There is also talk within the Cavalli empire of launching a couture-type service. "Paris is beauty, luxury—everything we dream about," said the Italian.
