Kate Moss has a new hairstyle (blond bangs), a new boyfriend (Jamie Hince of the Kills), and a new collection (Topshop Christmas). All of the above went down excellently in the swish surroundings of Annabel's in Berkeley Square on Tuesday night. Moss, in a sparkly Deco cape and black flare-legged jumpsuit, said she'd picked out the legendary London nightclub because it worked with her early-seventies disco-languid look. It was a scene: a quintessentially multigenerational London mix of rock chicks, models, toffs, and money moguls that started with a fashion show and ended with Kate and co. up on the tables dancing to Grace Jones, who wore a tux jacket and tights and sang Slave to the Rhythm.

Packed in to watch the show—on a gold reflective runway in keeping with the theme—were Lily Allen, Kelly Osbourne, Naomi Campbell, Sadie Frost, Jade Jagger, Sophie Dahl, Amanda Harlech, and Daphne Guinness. Moss herself sat flanked by her new guy on one side and Simon Cowell on the other (hello, hello, is the girl furthering her singing career while she's at it?). Also in attendance were rock royalty, actual royalty, and retail royalty: Chrissie Hynde and Bob Geldof, and from the House of Windsor, Princess Beatrice, who hunkered down with the teenage Chloe Green, daughter of Sir Philip Green, Topshop's owner and the host for the evening. And just as the party got started, who should drop by but Harvey Weinstein and Georgina Chapman, fresh from their own soirée for Marchesa at Harrods.

As for the clothes, they were long and flowy, glam and short, ruched and bustled, and met all of a young woman's Halston-cum-Ossie Clark needs for the festive season. Oh, and just a thought: Did Jade Jagger, who was channeling her mom's style in a YSL tux, clock the truly Bianca-esque white pantsuit? If so, she was with everyone else: It was the best look in the show.
