Saks Kicks Off Its Charity Shopping Weekend, and Woody Plays Clarinet for Hugo Boss
Downtown, at another city landmark, the Cunard Building, Hugo Boss put on a Boss Black Spring fashion show, as well as an after-party complete with eighties-disco neon lights and smoke machines. Most of the editors in attendance, still recovering from Milan and Paris, cleared out after creative director Ingo Wilts took his bow, but celebrity guests Kate Winslet, Julianne Moore, and Maggie Gyllenhaal lingered over Champagne in the lounge to hear a set by Woody Allen and his jazz band. "I loved the collection; what a beautiful place to have a show," said Kristin Davis, who had a day off from shooting the Sex and the City movie. Would her Boss Black white blouse and full black skirt make it into the film? "We're not done with fittings yet, so you never know," she said.
