Tee Time
Glamour celebrated its T-shirt collaborations with Vena Cava, Thread Social, Jenni Kayne, Sari Gueron, Rodarte, and Rachel Roy at Milk Studios' new penthouse space on Thursday night. "This is one of our best parties," said the magazine's Mary Ellen Gordon, surveying the crowd. "Such a good mix of people." Including, but not limited to, actress Marley Shelton, model Lisa Cant, and the omnipresent deejays the MisShapes, whose closing song—possibly chosen with self-conscious irony— was The Emperor's New Clothes, by Sinéad O'Connor.

Drive, He Said
Across town, fashion week's official sponsor, Mercedes-Benz, caused a traffic jam outside the new Lower East Side hot spot The Box. The car company chauffeured Adrien Brody, Adrian Grenier, and several other A-listers to Serge Becker's cabaret lounge to watch Shiny Toy Guns perform a three-song set. A few doors up the block at another Becker club, 205, all eyes were on Charlize Theron. The Oscar-winning actress-turned-producer was busy congratulating her East of Havana directors, Emilia Menocal and Jauretsi Saizarbitoria, following the film's premiere at the IFC.

Candid Camera
Meanwhile at the Soho Grand, party photographer and Polaroid master Jeremy Kost celebrated the opening of his first exhibition with his host, Theodora Richards. Crowding in for a peek at the never-before-seen pictures were downtown art types like House of Diehl's Roman Milisic and a sprinkling of famous faces including Joan Allen, Antonio Banderas, and Mena Suvari. "I keep telling people New York is not dead," the shutterbug said, and his Warholian snapshots of drag queens and club kids proved it.

Carried Away
The previous evening, the scene was a bit more serene in the Park Room at the Gramercy, where Olivia Chantecaille hosted a dinner for 29 of her nearest and dearest in honor of handbag designer Monica Botkier. At least, things were serene until guests like Meredith Melling Burke, Alexis Bryan, and Fabiola Beracasa received the designer's Devon clutch as a thank-you.
