Mario's Moment
After taking their runway bows Wednesday, a triumvirate of top designers, namely Valentino, Karl Lagerfeld, and Givenchy's Riccardo Tisci (whose own after-party was taking place a few blocks away), showed up to fête their favorite photographer, Mario Testino. The party, hosted at the Hôtel de Crillon by Carine Roitfeld of Paris Vogue and Donatella Versace, was in honor of the Peruvian sharpshooter's new book Let Me In!. And in they came, sporting short frocks and teetering on towering heels. Representing the junior European set were Tatiana Santo Domingo, Charlotte Casiraghi, Camilla Al Fayed, and the Scarry sisters, while Mischa Barton, Jessica Biel, and Scout Willis closed out the American contingent. (The latter was representing her extended family's clan—her mom, Demi Moore, and stepfather, Ashton Kutcher, appear on the tome's cover.)

Self Promotion
Lagerfeld also made a lightning appearance (in a different outfit, no less) at Ellen von Unwerth's Autoportraits de Mode exhibit at Le Bon Marché. Designers Vanessa Seward and Ivana Omazic, as well as actress Audrey Tautou, were some of the subjects who attended the opening of the three-part show, which includes self-portraits by actors, models, muses, journalists, and critics. "It's the first time I've taken pictures of myself, and now I see myself everywhere," laughed von Unwerth, whose likeness appears in the advertising campaign. "In ten years of modeling I never had a photo this big—and now I am all over the Paris Métro!"

Lynch Mob
That same night, director David Lynch opened his first art exhibition at the Fondation Cartier. The Air Is on Fire features over 800 otherworldly paintings, doodles, script excerpts, photos, videos, and sound installations that took him three and a half years to compile. "I just saved a lot of stuff, but I never expected it to be shown—it took a team like the one at Cartier to make it all happen," he said. A brand-new partnership with Christian Louboutin led to some last-minute entries: Three vertiginous one-of-a-kind Louboutin heels, enshrined in a life-size re-creation of a drawing of a living room, were made just days before the opening. "And I am not done yet," added Lynch, who said he was still too hard at work making prints and framing them to attend the fashion shows.

Nicolas at Night
Less than 24 hours earlier, meanwhile, the fashion crowd packed into the tiny, hip Paris nightclub Neo, where Balenciaga's Nicolas Ghesquière hosted a "little party among friends," featuring DJs that played Prince classics and retro hits such as (Let's Get) Physical by Olivia Newton-John. Ensconced in the VIP corner, the designer seemed pleased with his Tuesday-morning show but couldn't elaborate too much. "I have completely lost my voice," he said. Luckily, plenty of friends and fans were on hand to help heap on the praise. "It was pure fashion, a stylist's fantasy," said L'Wren Scott, her lanky frame folded into a black leather banquette at the back of the room. Even PPR boss François-Henri Pinault put in an appearance well after midnight.

Some of the crowd then adjourned to Le Baron for the Jeremy Scott-hosted bash for singer Sean Lennon. The rock 'n' roll prince had just wrapped up a concert at La Cigale. Arriving on his arm was multitasking model Irina Lazareanu, who penned a handful of songs for his latest album. Fashion rocks, indeed.
