Pamela Anderson Makes a Pit Stop at Sophomore's Le Baron Bash
Chrissie Miller, one of the forces behind the buzzy basics label Sophomore (Bijou Phillips, Harley Viera Newton, and Jen Brill have posed for her lookbooks) and hostess of infamous post-Lit after-hours at her Second Avenue apartment, brought her late-night good-time brand to Paris Friday with a party at Le Baron. "She's the real deal," her friend Peaches Geldof said from a booth she was sharing with Juergen Teller and a heavily bodyguarded Pamela Anderson. In fact, said Geldof, Miller is "the funnest, coolest girl on the planet." To wit, while the rest of the fashion lot was cramming into Dior and Lanvin that day, the designer made a pilgrimage to Jim Morrison's grave.
Alexander Wang, Raquel Zimmermamn, and Anouck Lepère joined the crowd, but none made the mistake, as one unfortunate reveler did, of flouting the rules and smoking indoors. The response from club security made it clear that Paris' reputation as a smoker's haven no longer applies. "That just made me want to quit smoking," Lily Donaldson said, after witnessing the burly man's verbal lashing. "Like, quit smoking for good."
