"Store openings can be totally boring," Angela Lindvall told Style.com. But not the Emporio Armani store opening on Madison Avenue, where she was partying alongside Anna Dello Russo, Erin O'Connor, and Giovanna Battaglia last night. The Italian brand recruited the likes of The Drums, Ladyhawke, and the aptly chosen Skylar Grey to fête the new flagship, which in true Armani fashion is mostly gray and silver. The team also scored New York fashion week's big get, Olympian Ryan Lochte, as a guest.

Later, a pair of bashes at André Balazs' Standard Hotels lured the crowds downtown. Those heading west were going to Jason Wu and La Perla's after-party at the Boom Boom Room; others oriented east were destined for the karaoke christening of Chez André at the hotelier's new East Village outpost. In between all the photo ops, Wu gave a shout-out to his pal Karlie Kloss and the cookies the model was offering up at DKNY Soho on Fashion's Night Out. "I know it sounds like I'm saying it because I'm her friend, but her cookies are amazing," he said. "I'm, like, a huge cookie fan, and she's been making them for me for years. At first I was a little dubious, because the recipe sounds too healthy, but they're addicting."
