Mary J. Blige and Co. Fête the Dsquared² Guys
"This part of town just seems right for us," Dean Caten, one of the identical twins behind Dsquared², said of the Chelsea location of their U.S. eyewear launch. Indeed, the gay-friendly part of Manhattan welcomed Dean and his brother Dan with open arms last night—and apparently open fire escapes. One overzealous and impatient partygoer scaled ten floors to the VIP rooftop.
Joining the brothers and the crashers alike were many of the brand's fans, including Ciara, Hilary Duff, Estelle, and Mena Suvari. Rachel Zoe joked that she came not only to support the twins but also because her staff are big fans. "Brad [Goreski] loves these guys and is always calling in their stuff," she said. True to form, Goreski stayed long after Zoe left, mainly on the dance floor. And the accolades for the brothers kept coming. "I'm recording a new album, so I haven't gotten out much this week," Mary J. Blige explained. "But I love these boys, and will do—and wear!—whatever they tell me."
