Marc Jacobs and L'Wren Scott's Hotel After-Parties
Last night, the Dream Downtown was bursting at the seams with fashion fêtes for one final night of hoopla before the London shows commence.
Marc Jacobs' bash was in full swing at The Gallery, the hotel's newest party place, by 10 p.m. The designer was in and out in a flash, but recent muse Dakota Fanning held court with Sofia Coppola, Kim Gordon, and Juergen Teller in a sectioned-off corner of the 6,000-square-foot space. When we made it past the security guards, Fanning told Style.com, "I really loved the leather jackets. I can't wait to wear one."
Downstairs at the hotel's haute Romera restaurant, where L'Wren Scott was co-hosting a dinner with Daphne Guinness, it was a very different scene. "It feels like a high school reunion because I haven't seen my friends in so long," Scott said. "I have my whole gang here." In her clique: Calvin Klein, Steven Klein, Dasha Zhukova, and Mick Jagger. It's safe to assume she'd seen her rock star boyfriend a little more recently than the rest. Later, Owen Wilson, Bradley Cooper, Rachel Zoe, and Nacho Figueras joined the L'Wren clan at Nur Khan's Electric Room for a stealth after-after-party. All eyes were on Mick as he lounged on the Union Jack couch and chatted with Courtney Love.
