Good-Time Jeremy
Scott Hosts Characteristically Over-the-Top After-Party
"I think it's unfair they only give me six months to plan this stuff," said Jeremy Scott at his Élysée Montmartre after-party on Tuesday night. "A collection? And a party? You might not know this, but I like things that are over-the-top." (That message was loud and clear earlier at the show, where the designer took his bow atop a giant tiered wedding cake festooned with models.) Regardless of his cramped schedule, however, Scott still managed to pull out all the stops at his post-show fête, which also served as the launch for OXO, his new footwear collaboration with Adidas. There were DJ sets from the MisShapes, a performance by Uffie, and even a dance-off between Anouck Lepère and a posse of French hipsters. "I was told [Jeremy]'s the only guy to call for a good time," said Katy Perry, balancing a drink while climbing onto the stage after the performances—and somehow dancing at the same time. "I hope I can keep up."
