"Don't you just love the heat, the passion?" asked Jerry Hall. The unstoppable supermodel joined Oscar de la Renta on the judging panel for this year's El Botón—Mango Fashion Awards in a sizzling Barcelona on Wednesday. "Spain is always hot," she said. As a girl who used to run around these parts with Mick Jagger, she should know. But fashion legends weren't the focus last night; it was fashion's future, as in young designers, that everyone was talking about. Earlier, de la Renta had presented Korean up-and-comer Jin Youn Lee with the €300,000 award, the largest prize in the textile industry.

To celebrate, Mango put on a runway show at its design compound, a converted airplane hangar filled with fabrics, dress forms, and Picassos and Mirós, and invited the likes of Leigh Lezark, Daisy Lowe, and Riley Keough—who just so happen to be the future faces of the label. After the show, Solange Knowles took the mike. Her spirited performance not only had the audience on its feet, but also drew many to the stage itself. "What are you doing?" Beyoncé's sis asked. "This is a concert! Not a rave."
