John Galliano and co. capped off a two-day celebration of all things Dior with a massive party in Shanghai's Bund district on Saturday night. Kelis rocked the stage with backup vocals from a team of models fresh from the runway, as Chinese stars Zhou Xun, Ethan Ruan, Chen Kun, and Barbie Hsu posted away on Weibo, the Chinese version of Twitter. Charlize Theron and Marion Cotillard, meanwhile, were in tourist mode, snapping shots of the dramatic Lady Dior blue rose light show, which set aglow building facades across the river.

"I am here as a collaborator, but also as a friend," said Theron, who counts herself a buddy of Galliano's as well as a Dior campaign star. Nearby in the VIP booth, Hélène Arnault, wife of LVMH chairman Bernard Arnault, reflected, "Shanghai has changed so much since the first time we came. We never thought even ten years ago that we could do something like this."

Sidney Toledano, the Dior CEO, wasn't thinking of expanding markets at that moment. "All of this is to have fun," he said. Then he joined Galliano behind the decks with DJ Jeremy Healy, where the duo proceeded to rock out to Lady Gaga like a couple of club kids.
