The life of a Cabinet spouse, it would seem, is treating Bill Clinton well. Fresh from the Vienna Life Ball, he was mingling with the stars at the Hotel du Cap Eden-Roc in Cannes last night. It was all for a good cause, of course, as the former president was the guest of honor at the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala. As for those stars, Sharon Stone, Marion Cotillard, and Eva Green wore Dior; Diane Kruger stuck with tried-and-true Chanel; and Dita Von Teese took Jean Paul Gaultier for a twirl. Plenty of designers were on hand, too, led by amfAR chairman Kenneth Cole. Donatella Versace wore a modified version of one of her Fall gowns, while Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, who will host their own soirée this evening, arrived on the willowy arms of Natasha Poly and Eva Herzigova. No word on whether WJC will be making a repeat appearance at that shindig tonight.
