Debating the Merits of Macarons at Louis Vuitton's Toast to Glamour's May Cover Girls
Emma Stone, Ashley Greene, and Freida Pinto were the guests of honor last night at a party hosted by Glamour's Cindi Leive and Louis Vuitton's Charles Delapalme at the label's Rodeo Drive flagship. The three stars share cover-girl duties on the magazine's May issue. "This is actually our second year coming out here to host this dinner," Leive told Style.com. "We love putting these beautifully strong women, who are just at the beginning of what are sure to be huge careers, on our covers." The actresses had plenty of pretty company. Also in the crowd: Emma Roberts, Paula Patton, and Dree Hemingway, the lattermost of whom perused racks of Spring 2011 clothes and reported, "I really love what Marc Jacobs is able to do. He makes the most simple knitwear into the most elegant designs."
Sara Bareilles, no slouch herself in the good-looks department, serenaded everyone with a rooftop performance. The lights of L.A. twinkled all around, but Vuitton's hometown, Paris, seemed to be on Pinto's mind. Specifically, she was thinking about the city's famous macarons. "Ladurée is probably in the middle," she said. "The absolute best is Pierre Hermé."
