It's being hyped as a comedy match made in heaven—Steve Carell and Tina Fey as a suburban couple whose plans for a romantic evening in Manhattan go horribly, outrageously awry. In Date Night, out this Friday, a case of mistaken identity turns an innocent dinner for two into a nightmare of flying bullets, death-defying car stunts, and, finally, a ludicrous (and apparently entirely improvised) tandem striptease. "It was like Angelina Jolie fantasy camp," said Fey, who was wearing a blue organza Christian Cota number at last night's premiere at the Ziegfeld.

The co-stars—both securely married, albeit not to each other—have been off the market for quite some time, and seem to prefer it that way. "I was not much of a dater, and I think Tina's the same way," Carell ventured, an assessment Fey was quick to confirm. "I went on so few dates that I wouldn't even know if they were terrible," she said. As someone more battle-hardened in this department, her 30 Rock co-star Alec Baldwin offered his thoughts on the perfect date—"a woman who gives you a reason to stay home, so you don't go out at all." Still, there's something to be said for a night for two on the town, especially if you're an A-list comedian. As Carell said of himself and his wife: "Our date nights recently have consisted mostly of going to awards shows."
