A Whole Lot of Groping Going On at Aniston's Management Screening
Jennifer Aniston's rear end is officially a marketing tool. The poster for Management, the star's latest (on-screen) romantic escapade, features co-star Steve Zahn with his hand resting oh-so-close to the Aniston posterior. The tagline? "A touching comedy" (geddit?). It's a reference, the audience at last night's Cinema Society screening learned, to a quirky little scene in which Zahn, playing a motel night manager, unexpectedly wins over a comely guest—well, sort of. "You can touch my butt, then you gotta go," a fully clothed Aniston commands him before bending over the dresser.
The scene took some work. "We couldn't get through it. We had to do it a bunch of times," Zahn confided. "We laughed endlessly—I mean, I was like a sixth-grade little girl." The touching, it seemed, extended to the red carpet. While Aniston was giving an interview, director Stephen Belber made (innocent) contact in an attempt to say hi. The actress whirled around, then conceded: "He's allowed—he wrote it." Meanwhile, Tommy Hilfiger, who co-sponsored the evening, revealed that he might be looking to follow Zahn's character into the hotel business. "We're seriously considering it," he reported. Turning to his wife, the six-months-pregnant Dee Ocleppo, he went a bit further: "We are, actually, conceptualizing."
