"I feel like we're in Woodstock," said film producer Andrew Lauren on Friday night, as guests settled down on the lawn of Montauk's Crow's Nest restaurant. There were plenty of bare feet, but attendees at the outdoor screening of Lauren's new indie flick, The Spectacular Now, weren't exactly roughing it—not with the cable-knit blankets scattered on the grass and the jalapeño margaritas that were being passed around. In the crowd at the Cinema Society screening, which was cohosted by The Hollywood Reporter and Samsung, were Zosia Mamet, Christie Brinkley, and a few members of the Lauren clan; Andrew is Ralph's son.

Before the film, Shailene Woodley and her costar Miles Teller posed for photos with a picture-perfect sunset as the backdrop. "I've never been to Montauk, actually. It's so beautiful out here," said Woodley, adding that her time working on the James Ponsoldt-directed movie, a story of teens confronting the perils of adulthood and modern love, had spectacular moments of its own. "Everyone was so passionate about the script, and I was so keen on accurately and authentically doing justice to realistic teenage human life. Plus, Miles is the funniest on the planet, so there was a lot of laughing on set."
