On Tuesday night, the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalists gathered at Anna Wintour's town house to present their L'Oréal/Fashion Fund Special Project designs. "As guidelines we were each sent a package that contained a different L'Oréal dual eye shadow compact, butterfly, and word of inspiration," explained Richard Chai, who devised a blue and brown (his shadow colors) chiffon frock that called to mind the Roaring (his word) Twenties. Coco Rocha modeled the dress while Jamie Johnson donned a blue and brown Richard Chai suit. "Coco's teaching me how it's done," the documentary filmmaker said of the brunette beauty, who apparently isn't one to spare the rod. "She's given a few swift elbow jabs when I've gotten out of line," grinned Johnson, who apparently isn't one to mind.

Other famous faces on muse duty included Lake Bell, who teetered about in a pair of showstopping Alejandro Ingelmo platforms, and Olivia Thirlby, who made sure that her date, jewelry designer Irene Neuwirth, didn't go hungry. "Here, Irene, I found you a hamburger," she said proudly as she corralled a cater waiter. Leighton Meester was all about paying lip service…and not just to her designer escort, Jason Wu. "I just can't concentrate," she blurted out mid-interview. "I see a really cute guy over there." The gentleman in question made a beeline over to the Gossip Girl star. "Excuse me, do I know you from somewhere? Are you an actress?" he asked, grabbing Meester by the waist and passionately kissing her. "I'm sorry," she said, briefly coming up for air. "This is my boyfriend. We play this game all the time."
