"It's like being a kid in a candy store," Jessica Chastain said. "Like a Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory.” Chastain was referring to her trip to Harry Winston to pick out her baubles for last night's dinner at the Leading Hotels of the World’s Setai on Fifth Avenue, which was hosted by the jeweler. Radiant as her earrings and bracelet were, they weren't what drew the likes of Patti Smith, Debbie Harry, and Francisco Costa to the fête. The crowd was gathered to toast the Academy Award-nominated actress' return to the stage in the upcoming Broadway production of The Heiress, opening November 1. "There's a great sisterhood that comes with a character like this because great actresses have played the role, so I'm now in that, but it's also about finding my place in there," she said. "I'm tired, and a little nervous, but I'm very happy to be doing theater again."

At the IAC building in Chelsea, meanwhile, there was a sisterhood of stars celebrating Narciso Rodriguez's new line for Kohl's. Katie Holmes, Emma Roberts, and Julianna Marguiles mingled alongside the likes of models Kati Nescher and Trish Goff. "I loved it," Rodriguez said of the high/low collab. "We went to Istanbul and I took tons of pictures—you know how I love to take pictures—and we came home and plastered them all over the design studio. The prints are based on tile from Topkapi Palace." Rodriguez travels so you don't have to. The collection goes on sale November 7 at 7 a.m. on
